Toronto Artwork

Toronto Artist Mike Parsons started developing a unique language of repetitous  black & white ink splattered cartoon images at the O.C.A.D. in 1999. This is a photo of Mike's first large scale instalation of the "HEY APATHY!" artworks. The entire exhibit, curated by Mike Parsons, featured four installations by select artists (foreground) and the giant cityscape environmental exhibition entitled "HEY APATHY! & THE APOCALYPSE." Numerous animations and comic books we also exhibited at the opening event. NOTE the four story handpainted on sewn bedsheet backdrop! O.C.A.D. Atrium Gallery Jan 2002.
