Toronto Art “STREET PAINTINGS”

 

Toronto Art by Mike Parsons at Nathan Philips Square. At this years annual juried exhibition Mike showed a selection of drawings intended to showcase the various styles and different techniques developed as part of the HEY APATHY investigation.This portion of the display presents 6 of Mike's Street Style Paintings. These acrylic on canvas works are made live during the Hey Apathy! street performances. The technique involves quick sparatic brush work resulting in instantaneous imagery. Seven of the last 8 street paintings sold this past weekend. In order to pursue the production of his new comics, this type of work will be created on a commission only basis from now on.
