ART COMICS

ART COMICS & INK DRAWINGS! HEY APATHY! is an ongoing artistic investigation into the identity of the metropolis. As a young artist, living in the suburbs, I envisioned the city as a giant gear propelled by an endless sea of faceless bubble people. With each subsequent investigation the drawings delve deeper into  concrete affairs slowly revealing the true nature of the metropolitan beast. In more recent artworks, the city is still represented as a giant gear, only now it fuelled by all the amazing people, monster, and stories of life in the City of Gears. The above image compares and contrasts to the two different  ideological representations exemplifying the evolution of the artworks.  The entire mythology  has been documented in 2 volumes, first a 13 chapter online experimental graphic novel compiled of artworks, comics, murals, performances, and exhibitions 2001-2008, and second the 13 issue comic book adaptation of the adventure entitled "HEY APATHY!" see more at www.heyapathy-comics-art.com
