Monster Comics

HEY APATHY! Monster Comics at the Hospital. Another victim of the modern new age checks into the facilities in order to have some minor elective surgeries. Luckily for this patient the doctors in this operating room are real professionals. If he'd of opted for a lesser surgeon the simple procedures may have been botched or worse, passed off as unnecessary and replaced with prescription mind numbing pharmaceuticals. The most simple and profitable answer is generally the best one, right? Heaven forbid this patient be forced to change his diet, take the time to practice yoga, or retain his awareness of the problem. Coming soon to your local home delivery services, a scalpel and some pills, and ultimately salvation!!! This is a panel from a little mini-series entitled DOWN comics, a particularly bizarre and horrifically twisted sequence of terrifying tales taking place within pseudo religious walls of the almighty Hospital. The DOWN series was originally distributed as photo copy zines at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the Toronto Outdoor Art Show around 2002-03 and have since been restored as online comics and part of the ongoing HEY APATHY mythological misadventure. Canadian Art and underground cartoons by Mike Parsons. visit www.heyapathy-comics-art.com for more alternative monster comics.
