Monster Comics Technological Tentacles

HEY APATHY! Alternative Monster Comics series. Technological tentacles are assimilating mankind! The streets of the metropolis are overrun by a barrage of electronic extraterrestrial abominations seeping in every orifice! The computerized chaos is replacing the human mind, body and soul in an ever strengthening attempt to corrupt, control, and correlate all things under a single commercialized conglomeration. The denizens of the city are under constant attack both blatant and subliminal. In this panel one of the monstrosities flies from the sky grasping the unsuspecting but not entirely unwilling victim by the head removing his sense of responsibility and his ability to interact socially with other humans. Devouring his pathetic empathies the newly formulated cyborg type being is free to manipulate, prosper and ravage the less fortunate without repercussion. He is also very likely to miss any opportunities to enjoy the finer albeit miniscule wonders of art, music, and magical improvisations. This scene is from HEY APATHY! Book One, “The rise and Fall of Studabaker Hawk” is a tale of individual triumphs versus mass annihilation. The city is a giant gear but it is up to each and every one of us little cogs to make the machine spin. An all original, all new alternative comic adventure combining sci-fi, fantasy, modern mythology and the true life experiences of a Toronto Street Artist. visit (still no proper home page but lots of intricate artworks inside)
