HEY APATHY! WEEKLY WEBCOMICS!

New Webcomics Page! Chapter one “The Replacements!” kicks off with the perpetual reduction of both the body and spirit of an unassuming office worker. The comic began with some weird Mad Scientist types creating Frankenstein-like human doubles in preparation for some unnerving experiment. “The Replacements” is a new-wave style montage of bizarre situations in which a number of people ,of varied societal positions, are strategically, systematically and satirically replaced.

Drawing these vignettes is really fun as I’ve challenged myself to not only progress the entire narrative but to tell a complete and self contained parable within each page. This format was certainly, if not entirely, inspired by the online-presentation of the work. By using single pages that read like full strips, I plan on creating a surreal experience in which readers may enter at any point in the story and be attacked by my ridiculous ravings whether or not they decide to read any further. I think it will be a strange and unique to discover over time that these weekly newspaper comics are actually part of some extensively secretive and diabolical plot.
