COMIC BOOK BLOGS 3D Artworks! I’ve been working really hard over the past year or so trying to bring my surreal cityscapes using various methods of animation including hand drawn works ( with the assistance of the Ontario Council for the Arts and the Toronto Arts Council.) as well as 3d animations based on the artworks by of graphics wizard Laurie Ronne.  Now thanks to some random good luck and good fortune yet another designer  has joined the program. Michael Peters is working on these new virtual renderings of my drawings (posted above). What’s really interesting about these 3D drawings is that the audience will be able to navigate their way through the surrealist artworks using a video game controller. I’m really excited about this aspect of the project because audience participation has always been an integral part of my creative process. Since I stopped doing street performances I have been struggling to figure out how to reintegrate audience participation into my work, until now. At any rate the whole thing is shaping up to be really crazy and exciting. We will probably be showing all this stuff as an installation in Sept. More as this new world develops. visit HEY APATHY.com
